Hello,
a bit about me:

My name is Pham Van Thanh (in Vietnamese Phạm Văn Thành). I am an Assitant Professor at the Department of Mathematical and Systems Engineering, Shizuoka University, Japan. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at McMaster University, Canada (2021-2022), the University of Aizu, Japan (2020-2021), and a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) fellow (2018-2020). My research interests are in the area of optical wireless communications, network security, communications networks, and communication theory. I am a member of IEEE and IEICE.

Aside from doing research, I do some photography and read about history (especially the history of the 20th century), astronomy, and astrophysics.
